Windows 7 "loses" the connection to all network printers.
It happens periodically where the connection is lost to all 3 network printers (HP LJ2605n, HP OJP8500, HP OJP7600). It happens simultaneously with all 4 workstations, the printers are "unavailable". I "remove device" for each and "add printer" to reinstall each for every workstation to bring them back online. This happens every 2 weeks or so. This did not happen with Vista.

Hi, This issue can occur by incompatible printer driver or corrupted printer spooler. To troubleshoot the issue, please perform the following steps. 1. Access HP website and download the latest driver for the printer, and then install them on the Windows 7 machine to check the result. 2. Clear Printer Spooler files and enable the spooler service a. Click Start, type "Services.msc" (without the quotation marks) in the open box and click OK. b. Double-click "Printer Spooler" in the Services list. c. Click Stop and click OK. d. Click Start, type "%WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers" in the open window, and delete all files in this folder. e. Click Start, type "Services.msc" (without the quotation marks) in the open box and click OK. f. Double-click "Printer Spooler" in the Services list. g. Click on Start. In the Startup Type list, make sure that "Automatic" is selected and click OK. 3. Temporarily turn off firewall and antivirus program on the machine. Thanks, Novak
